I'm new here
New to HPC, new to church...Here is what you can expect
what to expect
Worship services are Intergenerational. At HPC we strongly believe in the value of the whole community worshipping together. Babies and small children are welcome at every service. There is an area for children at the back of our sanctuary which allows children to be a part of worship while working with hands-on activities. A playroom is available just outside the sanctuary for parents and kids who need more space to move about while still listening in on worship.
Our worship is rooted in the Reformed tradition which places the reading and preaching of scripture at the center. Worship services include prayer, music, Bible reading, a sermon based upon Scripture, personal response/offering, and a sharing of community concerns.
The sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of every month. All those in worship are invited to receive communion.
Come as you are
Our dress code is always casual, come in what is comfortable for you.
Join us for a few minutes after worship for food, drink, and conversation so that we might get to know each other and answer any questions you might have. We promise to greet you warmly and make you feel comfortable.
